Wild oscars dilema

Looks wild to me!
There is no chance of a Wholesaler catching them wild in FL. The population is not near dense enough

Lol this is what the lfs guy said and i pointed out a friend of mine catches them at this size by the hundreds. We couldnt even give them away fast enough. The population is a lot denser than most think.

Ok hes all settled. Im in love! Im gonna have to go back and get another one. I still have no idea whether to trust the wild or not. He has some similarities to a chain store oscar except for the tail spot and the striping on the fins. Also the mouth is a bit different. Coloration seems the seems the same as most big name store oscars. What do you guys think?

I got on that looked like this after a few months ended up being a normal tiger Oscar. Still was pretty neat when he was small hope you have better luck then I.
Got any pics? So they got orange stripes? I thought they would turn into dark gray stripes...
