wild oscars?

hi, this afternoon i just went to a lfs and found out that they had 1" oscars. r they wild oscars? i just deceided to buy a pair as i found them attractive. futhermore, they were less than $1. Their food r the worms on the bottom left of the 1st pic.:)

All the wild coloured (so not the red coloured variants or something) oscars have this pattern when there young.

Look like wild phase O's to me. Maybe not actual wild-caught, but wild coloration. I like 'em, when I get the bigger tank I might add one.

i read that and was like what! in montgomery county it is more like$3 but then looked at the state and its not PA!
