For wilds yes at that price otherwise no, all comes down to if u like and you got the money, then buy it. Just my opinion

Exactly that. A fish is only worth as much as someone wnt to pay for it. It's always a gamble but the cheap bass you find in shops in the uk have normally been bred in a a pond in Taiwan and never end up what you want them to be. I had the chance last year to buy some tiny f1 mono's (inch) and didn't take it up. They were still £30 at that size. The long and short of it if I thought I was getting a high quality fish I don't mind paying more or going the extra mile.

There is defo a lot more bass available in the UK the last few months and when I imported my wilds two year ago I paid £50 each at 4" and regret selling them so much. I say if u like a fish then buy it, don't worry wot other people think about how much you paid, in a years time when they are hitting 12-13" your look back and think wot a great buy.

Hi lads..it was me and my partner Gary who imported them from Peru about 2 weeks ago.Its a first time for us importing bass at this size but were pleased with the success. We have been importing mainly Piranha for about 6 months now together but we both did a little bit before we met.I have only kept bass for my own personal collection for about 4 months so im still learning. We managed to get some small bass in like Kelberi,Orinos but there only 3" or so.I spoke to one of our suppliers in Peru and he basicly catches them to order at any size.Im a beleaver in importing direct so you know what your getting. There a couple of people selling bass on AC claiming there wild but realy there brought from Singapore,Taiwan etc where you dont realy know if there wild or not.£95 realy is not a bad price.I dont make much on them by the time the freight is paid etc.I also have to alow for DOA because im sure you all know big bass dont travel well.My aim is to rid the UK market with crap farm bred bass and bring in decent fish at a good price.Hope your happy with the 2 bass Adam.;)

One thing we have to remember is most of us are not making an investment when buying Cichla, so the price is what it's worth to the buyer not what is the market say it's worth. that being said of course we don't want to get ripped off. I've bought Cichla at a higher price than they were worth knowingly because I really wanted them and someone had them, I'm still ok with it;)
