Your fish look great Jon. Kicking myself for not getting those little rip cabayo cons.
 
The cabayos are some of my favorites. I got my pair last fall. They definitely fit the sterotype of insane when defending fry. I had some zebra danios in their tank to get them to come out and they literally hunted them down in a matter of hours when they spawned the first time.

My pictures don't really do them justice when in courtship mode. They are really colorful.

I love convicts. They are such an underrated fish. Everyone sees them as easy breeders and disregards them as a beginers fish. I love all your fish - they are so colourful! I never realised they varied so drastically with origin.

I have two pairs, a normal lfs black pair and a normal lfs pink pair. I believe my black pair are stunning. Not the best pics but they are full of colour, IMO.

You may notice the 3rd pic from POTM. Not doing too well though :(.

It's really nice to see cons getting the respect they deserve, I've been on a kick with that genus lately, but ironically enough don't own a pair of standard cons anymore lol
 
I love convicts, I keep them in all my tanks, only females now becsuse I dont want to deal with the breeding. They are really dithers in my tanks but I enjoy them as much as any other fish and they hold there own against any other cichlid!
