The specs for that heater are for up to 100 gallons so, I'd use two heaters for your 180

No. Had 1 in a 125 and it maintained 79 or 90 with air conditioner set at 72 or 73 but as soon as i set my furnace to 68 it couldn't keep up.

i have two in my 180 and its a nice 85.5
