i have a hybrid pbass in my 240 community and he does fine just make sure you get it on pellets before you put it in the community or it will die from starvation i started with 6 and only one made it to the community 2 died of starvation in the grow out one was sold one was eaten by another and one was sucked up into a impeller when a grate was knocked off so just be careful
Have a thread in the cichla section. Have had mine for a week. Was pleased with my experience. Got 2 bass and 4 redhead geos. All are eating and healthy.

To get one of these small ones that I will order up to size so I can add it to my 225g with the other fish I think I need to get it to at least 4-5in first. So if I need to set up a grow out tank what would be an acceptable size tank to get to that 4-5in mark? Would a 20g long be big enough? I have a spare take of that size. I figure I will order 2 Orange Shoulder Severums while I am at it and keep them all together. And I think I read that I need to keep the tank around 87* when they are small, correct?
