Will a ray tail thats been nibbled(lost color and chewed) heal?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks guys. All 4 have it a little. None have actually lost any length of thir tail just some skin exposing white tissue minimally. The leo has it the least so we know who the main culprit is. Then the motoro has next to nothing. The flowers are the smaller and less aggressive so are taking the beating I guess. Keeping rays well fed won't stop this, because they never seem to stop wanting food. Oh well...

i feel u should seperate the leo and motoro away from the flowers, they are not as aggresive, more expensive, so ya..

or do u have other fishes other than ur rays in the tank, coz it could be other fish nipping their tails..

My money is on the Leo, they are bad ass nippers. If the flower rays were the same size as the other rays they would be ok
I've found flowers to be equally aggressive as most other rays. Flowers are notorious tail nippers, nearly as bad as black rays if not worse.

I seperated the flowers. Flowers tail is healing some..
