hi i'm new to rays, i've only had mine for a few days, shes great and eating like a pig. the thing is i've also been looking for an rtc for some time now, and i finally found one, here in portugal... can i put the rtc in the ray tank, or do i have to put it in another one? i had to take a big clarias ou of the aqua because it was bothering the ray, but the rtc should be about the same size as the ray....

what do you say? she's with a pangassius sanitwongsei a silver aro a polypterus lapr. a pteropterus, a gobby a chittala and a surubim.... the RTC whould rock !!!

just scared because i never had a ray and everyone says theyr sensible...and the rtc i once had was a bully i had to give it away. not enough space, unlike now:)

i wrotte this aswell in the ray section to see different views. from catfish owners to ray owners or both:D

i wanna be shure before i buy the rtc;)

i wouldnt unless the tank is extremely large becauz in any tank less tahn 300 gallons the rtc would own the bootom and problably take all the food and possibly kill the ray. so if u have any spare 300 gallon tanks tehn i wouldn't get the rtc. it all depends on the tanks u have. but i wouldnt put them together. just my opinoin

May I see pics of this pangassius sanitwongsei?

Retics aren't very big, and the rtc will outgrow it in a matter of weeks. The ray is likely to be bullied, if not eaten, and also their will be great competition for food. IMO it isn't a combo that will work.
