Right now i have a 55gal with a 3inch Jag and a 4inch jd and 2 inch clown pleco. They leave the pleco alone for the most part you may have to watch them at first but if you put them all in at the same time you should be Fine and if your tank is bigger then mine your set. Plus the clown pleco isnt stupid he knows when to swim off out of sight.
the thread is about clown LOACHES not clown PLECO, and if it is indeed a clown LOACH that you have then you really should have more than one as they are happiest in groups

i've got 3 clown loaches with a tiger oscar,2 marbled sand gobies and a rainbow shark. they do well, but provider good shelters and hiding paces like driftwoods, plants even pots.

Remember that clown loaches get fairly hefty and do best in large groups... I honestly wouldn't do it, a 75 gallon would have a tough time with that bio load.

I keep skunk loaches (smaller, uglier relations to clown loaches) with African Cichlids and I have no problems. They have the spine under the eye like the clown loaches. They have no problem getting their share of food and be somewhat aggressive themselves. I believe they are similar in disposition. Except for my Brichardi breeding pair they pretty much own the tank when they want to! I say go ahead just give them some hiding places to escape when they need to!

Semi aggressive cichlids I'd say yes, but with a Red Devil in a 75 I wouldn't risk it, and I agree with d-train about the bioload.
