geta little rod and a small worm lure!!! then ur golden!

Are there no rules that apply to taking small gamefish in a trap, or seine for that matter where you live ????. Just wondered dont want to tell you how to do anything illegal.:grinno:

Crab meat should work as good as anything else, I've caught big bass in fish traps using corn. Crushed crayfish would seem to be a good idea but anything that attracts small fish should do it. If nothing else the bass might come in after other small fish.

im trying to catch a baby bass, and i know where there is a whole school, and theyre impossible to catch with a net, so i made a trap, and just wanted to know if thats a decent lure

only if the bass is from the East Coast mid-atlantic region, Maryland in particular... and if so they prefer deviled crab cakes, or soft shelled crab sandwiches...

Yada yada... but to answer your question, Yes crab meat will attract bass, or about any other fish.

Thanks for that correction, I never even considered geograpic taste preferences, do the east coast bass prefer tartar or just straight up with wheat or rye bread:barf:
