Nice Thai silk
Looks like it already has a little kok forming I'm sure as it gets bigger and under good care he will have a decent hump

I'm not sure if Thai silks are slow developer. But my kamfa at 4 inches has a pretty good size already, bigger than yours

Looking good and the colors are beautiful. I believe the diet plays a big role earlier on as a juvenile and not the size of the flowerhorn that helps it develop the hump. Good luck with the great looking flowerhorn!

it depends on the fish, and there's no guarantee on how big the kok will become! Just give it time and grow it out! The bigger the fish, the bigger the head it will develop, but you have to keep this in mind too, not all flowerhorns will end up with a big head! :( :D ! The picture below is a 8-9" Thai silk :)

I feed it meal worm and grand sumo daily. It live in a 75 gallon tank with an eheim pro 3 2080. I hope the luxury environment will help the hump grow.

Having the right gene is the most important. Of course diet plays a role and clean water as well if your fish has the genes.

I can feed my low quality fh hikari gold daily and the kok will not pop ever since his dad/grandpa did not have kok gene.

On the other hand, I can feed my 4 inch kamfa crap food and his kok will still pop since his dad had great genes.
