Will it fit?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
150 tanks are usually 6 foot long. So measure your empty space in the van and see if it will fit with the door closed. If it does, you should be ok, but also dont forget the stand and canopy have to go somewere.. If I were you, I would take both. I know it might be more gas, but if the tank will fit in the van, then you are covered from rocks comming up off the hwy or what not.. and you will have room in the truck to put the stand and the canopy. Remember, the stand is usually about 2 inches longer and wider (depending on the stand maker) than the tank it self.. Best bet is to take both vehicles. No since taking the chance of getting the tank chipped or worse cracked by something that might fly up off the hwy..

UHaul after Miles and Gas would be about $180.00

$0.69 a mile. 180 Miles round trip give or take 10 miles at $115.00
$20.00 for Rental
$50.00 in Gas round trip.

Not including the $$$ for the tank. Would put me at the cost of Buying it new.

well just measure your van space and see what it is with the door shut. If its long enough, then use the van. If you strap the stand to the roof. Make sure its strapped real good. Wind at 65mph is a @^#&$. JUst do it rt nad be safe.

I'm being told that the tank is a 150 Gallon Aquavim Bowfront. But for the life of me I can't find a 150G Aquavim Bowfront on their site. Which makes it hard for me to know the dimensions of the tank.... But from the Aquavim site even a 170 should fit in the van with the stand sitting side by side. And the hood sitting on the stand

I fit a 125 (6ft x 18in x 23in) and its stand and canopy in a Dodge Caravan with no problems.

Yeah, I'm convinced the Kia can make it happen. If not, 1 way from where the tank is to home for a Uhaul is $100.00

Well, 72"L x 30"H x 20"W Probably 24"W in the center? Give or take.

Assuming we're looking at a stand 76"L x 30"H x 26"W

Going out to measure the van tomorrow. Being told the tank is a Custom order that's why I can't find it on the site.

Very Excited considering I haven't had a tank over 55 Set-up before. Going to return this 125 I got my hands on and call it a day.
