Will it work for my 25 gallon tank?

One thing I know I want in the tank for sure is a Male Convict Cichlid.
I'm thinking also maybe a Peacock eel, but I don't wanna risk it escaping.
I don't just want a single Male Convict.
Would 5 Serpae/Blind cave tetras be compatible with the Convict cichlid.
Not sure if it'll work.
Convict and Peacock eel.
Or
Convict and Serpae/Blind cave tetra.
And If I happen to go with the Tetras which one should I choose I hear the serpae could get nippy.

Sorry for double post but would a Senegal and a convict work also.
and will a Firemouth and Convict work if there's plenty of hiding places and plants?

if you get a senegal or a peacock eel itll get stunted if its in a 25G for to long..they need at least 55G+ but you can keep a convict in a 25G but dithers would be dinner for the convict IMO on that though..but all in all good luck with whatever you choose..

I plan on getting them babyish maybe like 1 inch.
I guess the Peacock eel and Senegal are out of the question.
And I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon.
So hope that helps to further answer my question.

my convicts grow at a decent rate and i got them when they were under an inch. you'll be ok with a 25 gallon, but like i said, a bigger tank is going to be needed...

So Maybe just one Convict what's another choice that fits well with the Convict and could be a good home in a 25 gallon tank?
