Will its dorsal fin heal properly?

Back in action!
Spotted this loner in local lfs. About 13-14".

I'm debating rescuing

BUT

I have an RTG aro with a history of having destroyed a small group of 15" occels and a small group of 15-16" tems.


I might try him if you guys think his dorsal will heal nicely. The price is soooooooooo right......

It appears none of the bone is damaged from the vid if not it would heal quikely i would think...Does the RTG feel his authority challenged when they reach a certain size Gerry?It's a nice fish do it:naughty:

I don't think it's about authority so much as it's about competition for prey? He's shredded odoe pikes half that size.

Maybe a single bass will be less of a threat to him.....

From what I can see, It will heal proper.
