I find JD's can often act almost shy as juveniles. But patience with this fish will payoff with a spectacular looking adult that becomes very personable.
JDs are nice fish have had the pleasure of owning 2 over the years. That 5.5g should be ok as long as its as temorary as possible just keep an eye on that water things can go bad quick in that small of a volume
my JD is about 6-7" and loves hiding inside a cave or behind some live plants but he does come out during feeding time, jw what do you guy feed your Jag, I just got mine and feed it(don't know sex) frozen brine shrimp.
Thanks for the replies. I use an AC30 to make sure the water doesn't go bad and change the water twice a week. He is showing really good colours and always jump up for food, so I think he's doing good.
