Use the deckboards as said above as the outside frame then lay sheets of plywood on the inside creating walls and a floor.... I would also seal the plywood incase your pond liner springs a leak... There are a few builds exactly like this in DIY

Okay I have some questions 1st how will I connect the corners? Can I use corner metal braces for the decking wood. then drill a plywood on each side of the pond and then use more metal braces inside to connect the plywood also or That isn't necessary.2nd do I have to make a floor?

OKAY did some research and tell me if my new plan will work. Let's start with the sides. ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1330050097.220119.jpg okay I'll have the pressurized wood. One at the top one at the bottom and in between them for every 2 feet I'll have 2x4's in between. Now I think that won't be strong enough right? ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1330050332.219568.jpg now let's pretend that's an Ariel view. For every 2 feet, across I'll drill in more 2x4's at the top AND bottom. Assuming I do the corners correctly will this be strong enough? I'll post a pic TONIGHT (real one not my terrible drawings) once my Phone chargers. Man I'll have an ass load of pressurized wood left over. Maybe I could build my lizard enclosure that's been long delayed lol

To attach sides and bottom go get some 4x4 and put them in the corners where they join where u had metal brackets. No fix but seems smarter than some light galvanized aluminum brackets. If nothing else bracket the outside since you have them.
