Use your roomies for fish food!

ha yeah, never mind 'fish_are_fishfood', Roomies_are_fishfood

Damn, dude! I was so feeling sorry for u! My aquarium of 30 gallons snaped 2 weaks ago and you don't wanna know how mutch mess it gave and how bad my carpet smelled. So glad it was just a joke, a 75 gallon falling over.....sound pretty unbelieveble come to think of it!

Good luck with getting your tank clear (ps have you checked that all you filters still working like there supposed to?)!

adding more plants i believe can help with reducing algea, the plants will use the ntrients in the water instead of the algea. am i correct in my understanding of this?

Yeah the tank is overcrowded. Lots and lots of water changes. And you could try using a phosphate absorbing product like phos-zorb from aquarium pharm. Put the little pounch inside one of your filters. With no phosphates the algae should have a hard time growing.
