will my firemouth eat convict fry?

he is only about 2-3 inches himself. but im going to buy 2 convicts and get 2 more from a friend. so i will have two pairs in the tank. i have lots of caves and stuff for the fry to hide in and the parents to lay eggs on. is there any other fish that will eat the fry that can go into my 55 with them. btw when i get the convicts i am takin the zebra danios out of the tank. thanks
