FIRST OF ALL YOU DIDN'T MENTION IF YOU WILL LEAVE THE PARENTS IN THE SAME TANK ..IF YOU TAKE THEM ALL THE FRY WILL BE LUNCH...IF YOU LEAVE THEM IN YOU WONT A ANY FISH ON THE SAME SIDE OF THE TANK,TRUST ME...I HAVE A 70 GALLON TANK AT WORK THAT WE RAISE TWO RED TIGER OSCARS FROM ONE INCH WITH A PAIR OF CONVICTS....WELL THE OSCARS ARE 10 INCHES LONG,EVERY TIME THE CONVICTS HAD FRY IN THE TANK YOU DIDNT HAVE TO SEE BECAUSE THE TWO HUGE OSCARS WOULD STAY ON ONE SIDE OF THE TANK ...THE MALE AND FEMALE THAT ARE ONLY MAYBE 2 INCHES ATTACK FROM BOTH ENDS AND BELIEVE OR NOT THE OSCARS RETREAT...SO WHAT WE DO IS TAKE OUT THE PARENTS AND GIVE THE OSCARS A TREAT........
will my firemouth eat convict fry?

Right now i got a 3" firemouth in a 29 with a bunch of devil fry he ate alot of them but he didnt get the bigger ones now they are to big for him to eat.I will have to get the rd's out before they start eating the fm but confry stay small for along time so he will eat them up as long as the parents ain't there to stop the fm.
im thinkin about getting a pair of convicts for my 20 gallon, but i want to sell both my snakes and get some money for a new 75 gallon. then i want to use the 55 for two pairs of convicts or for the current fish in my 20 and get some more and put a pair of convicts in the 20. but i definitley want a wider tank.
