Hey everyone, so i snagged a little 2 inch polleni today at a fish store up in NH and i didnt notice until i got home but it looks like one of the fish at the store that he/she was in with completely removed one of its ventral fins at some point. It wasnt a recent injury as theres no redness or bite marks and the fish is acting just fine and already eating like a little pig for me. Im just curious if it will grow back? Doesnt look like a birth defect because i can just barely see a little stub where the ventral fin was and it looks like it was bitten right off. Were talking a stub thats about 1 millimeter so im thinking it may never come back but hey at least he/she has the other and it doesn't seem to be effecting the fish at all, even at 2 inches its a little spitfire racing around the tank lookin for food and it scared away my 3 inch GT that tried flaring up at it haha. Just let me know what you guys think!

It's highly unlikely that it will regenerate.
