Cool. How much should i dose the tank with/ when to treat/ how long to treat the tank? I wanna get this just right so my fish are fine and i dont have to do it again.

Dose 2mg per liter after you do a large water change by as much as 80%. At this point, feed your fish 1-2 small meals a day only. Do another large water change after three days. Treat again with levamisole afterwards and let it linger for a week without water changes. The next one should be after another week from third treatment. Vacuum thoroughly when you change your water as there may be worms that fall off to the bottom and presumably dead.

so, it goes something like this?-
day1- do 80% water change, then add 2mg per liter of levasole
day4- do 80% water change, then add 2mg per liter of levasole
day11- do 80% water change
then in a couple weeks i am able to get my new fish?

you said to add 2mg per liter to the tank... i dunno how to measure mg, so, how many mL should i put in the tank?

Add day 18-leave treatment for one more week
day 25-use carbon and do a large water change

Dang! I used the tablet form, not the liquid form. I need to find a way to recalculate this to ml.

Edit: This may help. I have to find a way to include calculated dosage of treatments on my references.

When I could not find levamisole I found a site that said fenbendazole works as well (just not as well). I mixed half a tsp with 2 cubes of frozen bloodworms, 1 tsp of garlic guard, 1 tsp minced garlic and 1tsp zoe. I fed for three weeks.

The Jungle anti-parasite food has levamisole in it, but most fish (even healthy ones) won't eat it. A friend called me last night and said that Petsmart carries a medicated food for aquatic turtles that has levamisole in it. He did not tell me the name of the product though.

so, weve got this formula: 0.25 g/l = 0.25 mg/ml
im not that great at math, so, what does this mean?

andrew- ive already looked for that stuff.... couldnt find it anywhere.

Starting formula:
0.25 g/l = 0.25 mg/ml

We want 2mg per liter but since you are using liquid form, we have to use milliters here.

Milliter to liter formula:
1 milliliter = 0.001 liter

Milligram to gram formula:
1 milligram = 0.001 gram

It looks like 2ml per liter to me. Maybe I am too much thinking lately that my brain is whirring again. I've stuck to the tablet form that it was never an issue to me at all. I need to find another way with the formulas again.
