Will the tail fin heal?

For me a split tail was no big deal, I kept the Paratilapia for years, even after he got too big for a 6 ft tank.

Duanes,who do you store your photos with,I'm guessing it is not Photobucket?

It is Photobucket, for most fish pics, but maybe not for long, although I started way back and paid for space before it became over priced.
I now just store the new ones on my Mac, and thumb drives

....and about a month later the tail has healed nicely.

Did you notice the split had healed nearest the body after maybe a couple weeks? And then the rest of the fin healed from there?
