I have three Mono's that are around 5 to 6 inches, and i've been trying to get them off live food for a while, i've tried the one feeder, then drop in a little krill or shrimp, and they won't fall for it, so i was wondering, if i did'nt put feeders in, for about three days or more, will they die of starvation, or will they give in, and eat the non-live food, do to the there hunger pains....Thanks in advance.:nilly:

Yeah, I was gunnu say, 2 weeks is about the time I'd start thinking about a backup plan. lol

They're monos. They'll eat anything if you push them. Hell I've starving my old Kelberi for a month before he took prepared foods.

dude use silversides and make sure they hit the water head first. they will knife through the water like a living fish. they will hammer them. just give it a couple days. it will work

To true

Are they wild caught or farm raised. IME wild caught fish are a bit harder to convert off of live foods than farm raised. 3 days without food will certainly not harm an otherwise healthy fish. Good luck.
