I recently made this stand and I'm just not sure whether it will hold or not because I am getting mixed responses, so I am setting up a poll. The stand is made completely out of 2x6 ins and corrosion resistant screws.
Will this hold?

need somethign going the length or the legs will just kinda spread apart will be my guess. remember you will be putting 500 lbs on this

I voted no for two reasons. There isn't any side to side bracing for one. Any side loading...a dog bumping into it, leaning against it accidentally, slipping when doing a water change...the stand will collapse sideways.
Second, there's no secondary support front to back. Much like a pair of scissors, the vertical supports can pivot forward and collapse...right in your lap.
The craftsmanship looks great...you did a nice job. Add some more bracing and you got it made.
