Sorry, a question for you now too. How wide is the tank? I just noticed the stand is 17" wide...which seems too narrow off the top of my head.

Also...when the door is fully open, is the door knob going to hit the tank?

The stand is 18"/1.5' wide and so is the tank.

That is not the permanent spot for the tank. The stand is just sitting there waiting for the tank.

I'm going to buy more wood tomorrow to add to the stand. The "no" votes are overwhelming.

lol, sorry...I read that as 1'-5" wide.

With the extra bracing, it sounds like you'll be good to go!
