In a 6' 125g?

3-4 red tail or hujeta barracuda
1-hydrolycus tatauia (red tail paraya)
2- butterfly fish
1-2 bichers
1- peacock eel
3 angelfish
1 ghost knife

Whould this work? as adults? Having growth rates in mind and assuming all were bought small, what order should they be got it so they dont kill eachother if one grows much fater then another? If its overstocked first to go from the list would be the knife or paraya (as i dont know if i can find this kind of paraya). All the fish get about just under 1' except the eel and angels which i think only gets 6". Any fish you wouldnt add or any additions to the list that i dont have? Id like a cat fish, but i dont want one that gets past 1'

Hujetas are shoaling predators ... I dunno most of them are agressive fish and 125 gal will be quickly outgrown. even with that in mind their is bound to be territorial disputes if not predation. it could work with a 250 gal. buy a chinese aquarium they're about the same price as american 120's. oh keep them well fed.

buy a chinese aquarium ? are they cheaper ? how is the quality of their tanks ? sorry didn't mean to derail youyr thread there but I don't think the 125 will be big enough for the cuda I got to do some searching to say for sure

Your a self proclaimed noob ( from your link) and your giving out advice? HUjetas dont have fast growth rate and wont quickly outgrow a 125g from a small size like i stated. How large do you think these fish grow and at what rate (it seems to me you dont know much about the fish im talking about)? Ive also heard that angels could pick on the barracudas. Barracudas arnt like the seem to be. The only reason im pissed at your statments is i keep piranhas and you act like their cold blooded killers based on misconceptions and hollywood, not reality. Do you have any 1st hand experience with these fish?

I didn't mean to upset you dude , I've seen Hujetas in tanks before , large species tanks. and yeah I'm new at aquarium keeping but I was just trying to help? no harm no foul.

no prob, but from p's i just hate assumptions. Im no expert on redtails or hujeta, but ive done some readings. From what ive gathered they do best in species tank or peaceful communities. From what i hear they will be bullied if their with larger cichlids so they need peaceful fish that are to large to eat.
Somebody correct me if im wrong though

I think the butterfly fish would be toast, they don't get very large and I can see your hujetas or tat eating them. I could also see problems with your peacock eel depending on the personality/predatory nature of your bichirs. If you go with small upper jaw bichirs like senegalus and palmas you might be alright, but if you want bigger bichir species you might want to go tiretrack eel instead.

ya i was thinking thay would be the first to go if any as they are smaller. Will 4 hujetas, 1 bichir, 3 angels a paraya be fine right? What other fish could i add. I want some fish that wont get eaten, however i dont want to take up too much space so thats why i want fish at about 8" or under
