1 Oscar
1 gaint gourami
1 fire eel
1 big bicher (the biggest one) to the uk)
4 rocket gar
1 snake head(that would kick **** of ahha)
Any other ideas and what size tank would house them or would that work if not ,could you recommend any other ideas I like big scary fish haha I want a tank that when people walk in they be like wow that's pretty cool.
Thanks and this would be my 5th tank.

Watch the giant gourami, they can become unhinged at around 12-14". I would look at a 500g if you want to keep gg, the get monstrous.

Aw okay, if I got a shoaling fish of like Congo tetra would that take us agrees ion out or make it worst and that's the feeder fish I would to keep them all in there

Snakehead can be super aggressive, specially with fish smaller than them. A redline snakehead might work but they need a monstorus tank and would slaughter an oscar, bichir and eel at full size

what snakehead would be okay with that group if there is any?
Most snakeheads are best kept in a species only setup. As well many snakehead species are subtropical and would not do well long term if maintained in a tropical setup.

If your dead set on trying a snakehead the two species that seem to be easier to comm are channa pleuropthalma and channa lucius. Even still some guys report issues.

yeh I see what you mean, I might just start with a little channa bleheri, could you suggest any other fish I could add to that collection in a 280 gal long?

If you have a Big BIG tank an odoe pike could work for you because they need space to swim, bt if you have 4 rocket gars then i guess you will have space for a odoe.

Another issue is that the eel will need space to hide so substrate or decor will have to be added (more maintenance and less volume)
Bichirs are also fairly passive so may be bullied

Giant gouramis grow huge and thick and need 200gals on their own, and may attack the oscar .

Thats my 2cents
