Will this work? And what size tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you have a Big BIG tank an odoe pike could work for you because they need space to swim, bt if you have 4 rocket gars then i guess you will have space for a odoe.

Another issue is that the eel will need space to hide so substrate or decor will have to be added (more maintenance and less volume)
Bichirs are also fairly passive so may be bullied

Giant gouramis grow huge and thick and need 200gals on their own, and may attack the oscar .

Thats my 2cents
Thank you very much would there be any shoaling type of fish that could hold there own.
Yeh I called up my lfs and they can't even get gg in so many they are of the list Yeh at the moment I have a 55 gall where I'm growing up 4 rocket gar and an Oscar and a fire well they are literally babies at the moment 3-6 inches so they would defo be on the list could there be any other cichlids that could also go in there or any catfish?? Thank you

I am just about clueless about cats, maybe ask frank castle or another cat expert.
Large severums MAYBE able to live in an aggresive tank (oscar fine, not sure about gar aggression)
Ever considered a silver aro? will easily hold its own when its big enough
Jaguar cichlid could work as it will hold itself against most stuff, but the oscar may become a target.

Do you have a tank set up for the full size fish?

yeh I think a silver would l but they do excrete a lot of waste but I surpose most big fish do, yeh I was looking at a jag but I think there would be blood against him and the Oscar.
no im trying to get one now I have 850 pound saved up and selling my 55 and 20 gal but I just cant find a big tank down here in cornwall England?

A big tank needs big WC
you will most likely have to have one built
found a link http://ndaquatics.co.uk/aquarium/build-on-site/
an aro will be wasteful, but not so much as that full list, and i suggest you just keep with that list

Silver dollars are your best bet, specially if the tank is closer to 1.8M long.
you get prettier varieties like blue hook too

(all knowledge was basically gathered from this forum, my biggest tank is 70gal)

if any expert experts could verify this then great but i think im correct
