Eventually an expensive pump will pay for itself in power savings. Even though they are not rated for continuous duty, they serve well over the long run. I have one that I bought almost twenty years ago and it had served as a main pump for about four years before being upgraded. It produced way too much heat. It currently is serving part time duty again for my water changes.will this work for a sump pump?
