Plans have change... Im not to sure on what size i want the other tank... So i sold my 150g that i bought. Reason, need something a tad shorter. it just doesn't look right for the room i have to work with. but i still want 20-24inch wide. So im rethinking the plant tank.
I might change the Sump to a W/D... For anyone that has a W/d what is the water level inside the tank before u pump back? as noted before i have to tank which can only be filled about 3/4 the way with water... To keep the level down do i just install a bigger Pump?
My W/d idea are just to get one of those file thing from WallMart and do what most ppl have done. (tring to cut down on money so bioballs for now.
oh the tank can only hold about 10inch of water. its a standard 60g tank 14inch high... how can i make this works?

Sorry so late on this one Dr joe. http://www.orijinmak.com/urun.php?id=1404 no idea what the site is in or the Box lol. but thats what i plan on using. It was running my 60,30,240 with a the fourth one open.
I use a seperate plant filter section for all of the pond filter systems I build. The differance has already been stated in that the plant section is the LAST step before draining into the main pond rather than the first. This seems to work out best ..not only for the plants themselves but also for the general water quality.
Yes i did that with some of my Filter for my old Pond.. i just stuck a plant on the top of the blue drum and it grew down in a area just for the plants... i never tested the pond to see if it helped... it was just an idea to cover the filters with this plant that grew down them to look like a potted plant lol.
