I have a 45 gallon tank with a peacock cichlid, and i am wondering if i can get a senegal bichir to live his whole life in it, and will it get along with the peacock, and if i cant get the bichir what other predatory fish can i get?

IME they do get along fine. but im not sure with the 45g tank.
