it would be better if you had more bottom sq. footage than the 22" depth, a standard 55 gal and 1 bichir would be about MAX
so i can keep 2 senegals and thats it? i might keep my peacock in there until i find a store thet will buy him from me so will they be ok with the senegals for a little bit?
He has a 45 gallon tank the question is can a sene live in it for life.the answer is yes in fact a cpl of senegals would be fine.
caveat#1 your maintenence will have to be consistant

caveat#3 there can be no other tankmates (45 gallons isn't sea world)
