I just thought I'd ask if anyone saw problems with this before I tried it.
I want to use a 55g for my bullfrog, and I wanted to use a 10g as the area for water inside of the 55. I don't think putting a full 10g in there could hurt anything, but I'm pretty dumb, so I'd thought I'd ask people who know something.

Cute drawing. I don't see any issues with it, but we'll wait for a general consensus.. lol
 
If you want to get creative you could do what my dad and I did with my salamander's vivarium a few years ago. We cut some plexiglass to divide the tank, it was only a few inches high. We filled one half with water and the other with gravel and soil. The little guy loved it!!!

Well that's what I was going to do, but the 55's silicone is just about gone.. plus using a 10g will give the frog(s) room to dig around.
