Singapore
I find it very hard to get certain species in Singapore. I sometimes search high and low and still to no avail. I thought of this.

A website where you can purchase fishes. Like add them to the shopping cart and it'll be delivered. Shipping is going to be retardedly cheap since Singapore is just a small island.

In a way, the website could help out LFS and breeding farms in Singapore by helping them sell online. I'd probably take like a small commission from every sale or something. Shipping will be settled by the various suppliers.

Species like black aros, rtc, juvenile c.micropeltes and certain species of bichirs are really hard to get. Especially when you're in the east side. Though there are fish farms in Pasir Ris, most don't carry species like the above mentioned.

So? What do you guys think?

I am aware that this kind of online stores are available in certain countries like the US but so far, I havent been able to locate much in Singapore.

If everything goes well, it could even go international. Either with a Singapore based supplier or an international supplier.

How many people keep fish in Singapore exactly?

I'm not too sure. However, as for people who keep Asian Aros, there would probably be quite alot.

For any business to succeed there has to be enough customers.

Make a website for fish keepers in Singapore. Then after you have established that there enough fish keepers there that have internet access add a online store to the site.

Yeah, fish availability is crazy sometimes. I get certain fish by me that are plentiful, but people on the opposite side of the coutry dont ever see them, but then they get stuff I cant get. Same goes for some countries they have what others seek, but they cant get what others have.

I sometimes dont count on ever getting a certain species. But if you got the right connections, you mgiht make it happen, but it cost alot of money too.
