nah not ignore you. I have 2 glass table tops ,one which may be the one on cl previously mentioned on here sorry, the other I have had for many years and have moved several times. Even after falling over in the driveway it did not break, there is one small 1/4 chip in the edge tho. Im sure had it been tempered it would be in a million peices. I would imagine that the glass isnt expected to be used it a way that would require it so they dont spend the extra to temper it.

oh well, im going to pick up the 1/2" 2morrow. i really hope its not tempered, if it is, and i do manage to get it cut somewhere, is it still useable for my application.

i bet the 1" thick isn't because it says it has a small chip out of the corner of it, if it was tempered and they hit it hard enough to chip it, i would think i would just make a 450lb explosion. could be wrong tho.
 
oh i think i read that wrong, u picked a table top up. well i know the 1/2" the woman still has, the 1" i dunno.
 
well it being a patio table, and meant to be outside, the glass shop said there possitive its tempered. and they can't cut it because it will explode. which sucks royal ass. and the 1" table top probably isn't tempered since its meant to be inside but they can't cut nothing 1" thick. plus the people have never emailed me back ne ways. FML!!!!!!!!

good news is i got called back to work, start back monday so i guess i will put a little back each week till i can afford what i need.
anyone know of a good website to order glass from? or acrylic. rly doesn't matter to me.
 
yeah that'd suck. i would was anything with bleach real good and since it quiet a few times with a good scubbing. so many table tops of all shapes and sized on craigslist. i could really make some cool tanks out of some of these.
