Somewhere
I recently made this stand and I'm just not sure whether it will hold or not because I am getting mixed responses, so I am setting up a poll. The stand is made completely out of 2x6 ins and corrosion resistant screws.

depending on what size tank it will work. but i would add some diagonal bracing across the back. and not needed but for cosmetic reasons but will also add structure, i would box the sides.

right here is a link to what i am talking about. there 3 main kind of bracing, compression, sheer and moment. compression is up and down which your 2x6 are more than enough. moment is a twisting motion which you have but not much. sheer is a left to right movement which is what im talking about. if you put weight on that stand as it sits now, the weight of the tank will tilt it left or right and that whole structure will crumble

Thanks, but I've already modified it. It's twice as strong now.
