I have a breeding pair of Brichardis in my 138 litre tank, I also have about 12 Platys one Pygmy Puffer and one common Pleco.

i wont even keep a common pleco in a 36g alone. They can grow to like what? 3'?

They get BIG. I have no idea why they are the "common" pleco... They should not be sold as much as they are when you have great smaller plecos like bristlenose.

Bums me out it's so "common" to see them in small tanks.

Last time I was in my LFS a lady brought in a 12"+ common pleco that she said was being kept in a 10 gallon "community" tank.

I have a 80 UK gallon tank that the pleco will go into once he gets too big for my 30 UK gallon tank.
