Wow. Tiger barbs in with Dovii? Dovii are predatory fish. Piscavores! They thrive on eating other fish. Plus if it doesnt fit in its mouth, It will tear it to shreds with their canine teeth. Dovii are Apex predators. They dont call them the king of cichlids for nothing.

An all around bad idea lol. But I get what you're trying to do. I'd say the only dither you could even entertain introducing is a large tinfoil barb or 2. The more the better. Depends on how 'socialized' your Dovii is.
