I have two fire mouths and I heard oscars try to eat them as adults. If I keep them in my fifty five gallon with the Oscar and green terror will they be all right? And will they breed as well? I included some pics as well.

Oscaroo is that you ?

Even though my Oscar is only mine inches, he has over 200 gallons worth of filtration; and it is that over tank size I am worried about. Guys, please just answer my question about the firemouths!

No you can't.
Not enough room for the O' let alone him a GT and TWO FM's.
A lone male GT will fill a 55. So i'd look into getting a larger tank(s).
At 9 inches your O will begin to feel pretty cramped in there. So an upgrade is fast becoming overdue.

If i were you i would upgrade to a larger tank 125+ and then all your fish could live together, because in a tank that small with a 9 inch oscar the FMs may well get eaten, or just stressed to death.

I have a FM with my two O's so it can work out, but you need a larger tank than a 55.

Regardless of removing comments from the thread, the answer will still be no.
A 55 is okay for a pair of FM's and a few dithers. So once you move the O, and the GT out then you can put them in. They may well breed - but only if you get a male and female, which is always a challenge. They will need to be pretty much fully grown to protect the nest from a 9 inch O. And in a 55 with a GT and an O, the chances of breeding are minimal - as are that of the fry surviving. FM's are much more placid than GT's and most O's. So they may well become stressed and be attacked by the larger O. How large are the GT and the FM's?

I personally would leave them seperated until you get you're larger tank, it isn't worth the risk.
