Yes, his ear is show cut. He is my first dobie and i have to drive 3 hours to pick him up at a breeder house. I have been in love with dobie when i saw their pic. I love the clean looking with cropped ears of them. I must admitted dobie is a great dog, lovely guard dog when you get to know them.

Yes my #1 protector.. and yet gentle when she knows there is no caution to be concerned...smart as can be..she gets tired of me on the phone and will go take another phone off the hook or knock my mouse off my desk if i am on pc too long.. smells everything new in the house..double checks it so she knows exactly what it is... yet never disturbs anything.. your dogs show cut looks awesome.my dobes is part german bred and part US ..i was afraid of von willibrands disease..{bleeder}my last dobie had that..good luck with your gorgeous black boy...

Wow, your dobie can be a protector now. My dobie is still in process of learning, he love to sniff around, play with things he see like a little kid. The best thing about him is that he will follow me wherever i go, he will keep a close distance where he can see me. He will stick his nose whenever i fix/work on something in the yard or in garage.
