Will young Red Devil Cichlids turn a darker orange when grown?

Both my rds are about 2 inch just now and are an off white. They are also seem to have black markings. Will they change or will the markings stay prominent?
colors can morph more yellow or more orangeish. its difficult to tell. my last one seemed to be more paleish orange. ....... the midas i have now actually got black spots and tips of its tale for a couple of weeks. I think it was agreesion thing though, i hadn't seen that happen before with my RD/Midas fish. but its all cleared up now, it did look kind of cool though. lol
Alot of the rd's that were in the tank seemed to be patchy but when it came down to selecting the fish I just told the guy to choose. My smaller RD just gets chased about just now and seems to be really timid. The bigger one also has massive lips. What u puting in your 60 gallon you set it up yet?
still not sure. i have the day off tomorrow, so i will be trying to get that tank up and running. maybe midas if they can't behave in the community tank. the lfs has a very nice FH they just got in. i'm hoping its not there tomorrow when i grab some supplies. i may not be able to resist its charm. lol
Yeah dude get a flowerhorn for that tank and then get another tank for ur midas lol. Mind man its for the kid lol
