yes it roots to wood and rock very easily, it attaches a little faster than java also.
oh if you spread it on your gravel (put a little gravel on top to hold it down) it will attach and grow like a carpet, i have this done in my tank and looks really cool, its also the choice moss for making a moss wall/background
