Wimple Piranhas

You can save money if you build a big one, yeah. I can build a plywood and glass tank that's 150 gallons for around $250...
Get a glass place to cut the glass for you, just give them the measurements. you can use GE#1 silicone instead of the lfs stuff that's expensive...
What is everyone's thoughts on putting one wimple in with other tankmates in a 300 gallon? Would this be okay? Would it school with silver dollars?
I've been going around to all of the LFS's around here and I ask if they are able to order in a wimple piranha. None of them have even heard of this fish and the only response that I get because of the word 'piranha' is "yeah, they're probably illegal in this state" (FL). I try to explain to them that they're not real piranhas but they're not listening!
From what I understand they are only a shoaling fish when they are juveniles, and become solitary and usually have to be seperated as they mature.
They eat only scales off of other fish from what I understand, so, do they get all of their nutrients from the scales alone? If so, could anyone explain to me how that is possible?
