I've been toying with the idea of using black limo tint for a backing on our new 240. Has anyone tryed this? I ran a search but didn't come up with anything. I don't like the idea of painting the glass.

Yea Id like to know too.

I did this to my tank 120 4x2x2 looks great in my opinion..... was real easy to do too. My buddy saw it and we tinted his tanks too the next day....

I used it on mine and it looks good will use it on all my tanks in the future

may i ask why u dont like the idea of painting the glass, if you dont like it you can just take the paint of with a razor

I also painted one of my tanks as well; and IMO it takes longer. You spray; and wait, apply 2nd coat, you wait....When I got my current tank on the same day we flip it to on side tinted the other which took maybe 10-15 mins threw it on the stand and filled with water. Just easier I think.

F.Y.I for those doing this buy the tint for house windows at home depot you get more and its cheaper , plus there is a wider selection . Dont buy the tint for cars you barely get any and it is way more expensive .
