It's actually not Windows 8 yet...I think they call it Windows RT...the Windows 8 PRO should be out in a couple months...I'd wait until then. They'll make updates, etc. so they can convert Windows RT users (tablets, phones, etc.) to the PC-friendly version (Windows 8 PRO). It's driven to be a "touch screen GUI" so most PC people won't immediately jive with it. They went against the grain to compete with IOS, which still uses IOS for mobile devices only. Microsoft is producing this OS to run on all of its systems...new hardware, new PCs, new XBOXs, etc. It's a bold move...it'll take some time to warm to. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks promising. I would use a MAC but I'm a gamer, and you simply can't do it on a MAC. If this can connect PC gamers and XBOX gamers, along with our media, to tablet users, phone users, etc. I think it's a game changer. But it's all perception. We'll see.
