Seems way over the top. 14+ inch freshwater fish!? And that doesn't include goldfish? It's not like people are going to throw away there 500 dollar Datnoid.

Currently kept fish are grandfathered in, from the looks of it.

The Masked Shadow im in Ontario and will be moving to New Brunswick so thankfully this does not effect me. It is definitely very extreme most people don’t understand just how many common fish can get over 14 “ given enough time, room and care

If implemented in Winnipeg it will spread to other parts of Canada as well. I could see Alberta or Ontario being next on the list to follow suit.

I went to a couple of the attached articles and signed a couple of petitions in support of my fellow hobbyists be it fish, reptile, or bird. If I can help from where I’m located I’m glad to assist, also supporting this from where I live (outside of Winnipeg) might also help stop ot from spreading across the country.
