Wireless temperature sensor/logger?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Actually the 300w hydor is working great, Im surprised it is managing as well as it is. I put a 150w in to get the tank up to temp and then unplugged it and the temp is hardly budging.

Question is: How hard is it working to maintain the temp? The harder it has to work, the more wear and tear. Which will shorten its lifespan, but more importantly increases the chance for failure.

Aquaponics source has one the emails and sends you a text if temp is out of line. You can also pull it up on a smart phone or on you comp. I believe it was $180

Get a heater controller for your tank. Doesn't log temps but its a failsafe. Submersible heaters are prone to fail or 'stick on' the controller manually turns it off.

INSANE PRICE! Usually 100$ but a 2 week sale for 62$ shipped to your door is a steal! http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+4416+21333&pcatid=21333 same one I use, its awesome.
