I don't know how bamboo would hold up completely submerged and the effects live plants would have in this case since it's a brackish tank. During the life of this tank, it's going to get very close to Full SW strength to keep the Scats, the Eel and the Sharks healthy.

But if bamboo doesn't have any negative effects, that would rock.

i was thinking more just cutting the stalks and drying them out, not physically trying to grow them lol

but no doubt that will be a nice sw tank.
