A mature female mata should be at least 30 cm long. For the porpouses of breeding of course a long term captive female is much better then a recently wild cauth, prepare to spend a pretty penny on a good suitable specimen and be REALLY pacient, even if you got a healty female now many years could pass before you got any substancial results, if any at all. But by the way, how is your ig doing? Is the tail healing?
