I plan on ordering a wolf fish online soon for my new 75gal. I know that they are aggressive so he will be kept alone. Is there any good tips on keeping wolf fish?

Howdy,

vary the diet, have good and massive filtration, do water changes. Watch him after the lights go out and you'll love him.

wolves are mostly nocturnal :)
at night is when they are most active and impressive and powerful swimmers. Most people don't think that wolves need a large tank because they consider them a log in the water. It isn't until dusk that a wolf's need for space becomes apparent.

They're great fish. I loved mine.

He wont be at 5" long. They eat anything meaty. Minnows, shrimp, raw chicken, talapia. Dont do hot dogs. I tried it once, two hot dogs DESTROYED my water from the greasy weiners.(giggidy) Had to drain about 120 gallons in a 135 gallon tank.Chris.

Definitely a varied diet and clean water is key. They grow very fast. I've seen some tanks with them in with other fish, but they are pretty aggressive.
